Newz and Viewz Control Panel

Welcome to the Control Panel for the Newz and Viewz website. This page allows you to enter new information into the Newz and Viewz Forums, edit information that is already there, view fan and visitor statistics, view the manual, or update your own contact information.

Add News is probably the most frequently used section. Use this if you have a new item of news to report. Use this also to send a mailing to all registered fans. You will be given the choice of posting the news on the web, sending it by email, or both.

The Rehearsal Diary is an optional piece of news. If you want to write a report of how a particular rehearsal went, do it here. Fans and absent or prospective members might enjoy an insight into your rehearsals.

You can Add an Event here. You will be asked the name of the event, the date, and any further information you wish to include. You can also include a link that the user can click if he "Plans to Attend" an event or would like "More Information". This will allow you to follow up and maybe realize more sales for shows and fund-raisers than you might otherwise. After the date of the event, the listing will no longer be shown.

As early as possible, you will want to upload a description and background Information about your chorus or quartet, the longer the better. Fans or prospective members will be interested in as much detail as you can give them in this section.

To change or Edit any page that already exists, use this link. You will be allowed to select the page and the section to edit.

If you want to View Info and statistics about fans and visitors to the site, use this link. This will also show you fans who have indicated an interest in attending events or requesting more information.

To edit your own Contact Information, if you change email addresses or change contact people, use this link.
